Porsche commercial broadcasted during Super Bowl shot in Heppenheim

The advertising spot was filmed in Heppenheim, Stuttgart, Heidelberg and in the Black Forest. By choosing locations in Germany for this ad, the company demonstrates a deep love for its home country. Most cars used in the commercial are owned by the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, but one car filmed has especially been imported from the US: Porsche 911 Carrera 4 S starring in Bad Boys III. A real film star! To focus on the company’s history, cars of different time periods are shown in the spot. A historical 911 is for example driving side by side with the brand new E-Roadster Taycan Turbo S, which is combining speed with sustainability.

Shooting in Heppenheim started on November 15, 2019 at 6 am and took approximately 12 hours. The main sights like St. Peter’s church, Mainz Electorate Court and market square were filmed as well as small alleyways in the old town. By filming picturesque half-timbered houses, fountains made of sandstone and idyllic corners Porsche shows American football fans how beautiful Germany can be.
